On-device only
Batch names, set dates and times, species choice, egg counts, incubator labels, day checklists, free-text notes, alert preferences, and hatch tallies are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. The app builds incubation timelines from your inputs without sending them to Hatch Day Calendar servers.
No accounts or cloud sync
There is no sign-in, no cloud backup from us, and no cross-device profile. If you leave the app or remove it, local data follows standard iOS app storage behavior under your control.
Notifications
Turning intervals, candle-day reminders, lockdown, and hatch-window alerts are scheduled as local notifications when you enable them. We do not push remote messages or track whether you open an alert.
PDF export
Shareable multi-page hatch logs are generated on-device and handed to the system share sheet. Destinations you choose (Mail, Files, Messages, and so on) are outside this app’s control once you share.
What we do not do
- No third-party analytics or advertising networks
- No sale or brokerage of keeper information
- No tracking pixels or remote fonts on this marketing site beyond what your browser loads for the pages themselves
